Meet the people at Premier Veins. We’re a strong and friendly team of specialist doctors, nurses and reception personnel, led by internationally recognised consultants. We work together, combining our skills and expertise to deliver exceptional treatment and care.
Sue from The Medical Secretariat Ltd has worked for us for almost eight years. She types our patient letters and invoices and works with the Premier Veins consultants on our strategy and practice development. Sue is an AMSPAR qualified medical secretary with almost 40 years’ experience in the NHS and private sectors.
Ruth assists Sue with our work and is usually the first point of contact for all patients. She arranges appointments and treatments and helps with any patient problems or queries. Ruth also deals with the financial side of our service. Before joining Sue at The Medical Secretariat, Ruth had a long career as a business manager’s assistant in the banking and accountancy sectors.
With over 20 years’ experience in the field of vascular surgery, Gareth has worked in all aspects of the speciality, including operating theatres, wards and outpatients. He has a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of venous disease and has participated in major national and international clinical trials and many smaller, more local research projects.
Clive assists our consultants with walk-in-walk-out varicose vein procedures and ultrasound scans as part of a one-stop assessment service. A qualified nurse with over 20 years’ experience, Clive has undergone extensive further training in Vascular Surgery and has specialised in this field for the last seven years.
Martin is a knowledgeable and approachable expert in keyhole procedures for venous disease and varicose veins. He specialises in minimally invasive endovascular technique including ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, radiofrequency ablation and veinlite transilluminated microsclerotherapy.
Donald is a pioneer in keyhole vascular treatments, specialising in walk-in-walk-out procedures for varicose veins and leg ulcers. He uses minimally invasive endovascular techniques, such as ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and radiofrequency ablation.
Hosaam specialises in minimally invasive interventions in vascular surgery and has extensive experience in endovascular (keyhole) interventions. He has been awarded the British Society of Endovascular Therapy fellowship and a doctorate in vascular research from St. George’s, University of London.
